RDS Operations Support FAQ

Here you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about the RDS Operations Support Service. In addition all posted tickets and additional PCA Trac project information is easily available trough the search function.

Before you create a new RDS Operations Support request, make sure you've done the appropriate searching:

  • in the RDS Operations Support FAQ
  • in the PCA project sites or in the PCA ticket system, using either a full search or a ticket query.

How do I send a request?

You are welcome to make requests about the RDS and RDL either by creating a ticket, sending an e-mail ([email protected]) or by telephone. Non PCA members are not able to create tickets, but may post requests both by e-mail and telephone.

On the ticket information page you will find important details on what to be aware of before making a ticket.

Who can become a POSC Caesar member?

Any institution or individual with intereset in the development of open specifications for enabling the interoperability of data and software are welcome to apply for POSC Caesar membership.

POSC Caesar membership information is found at PCA membership.

How do I apply for POSC Caesar membership?

You will find detailed information on the benefits and obligations of a POSC Caesar membership in the Membership wiki. Complete and submit the web based application form to apply for membership.

Where can I find the membership application form?

The application form is available from POSC Caesar membership information site.

How do I get username and password for PCA login?

To be able to logon to POSC Caesar with username and password you have to be a POSC Caesar (PCA) member. If you would like to apply for membership please look into the POSC Caesar membership information site.
