WITSML - lithology qualifier Component Schema The type of qualifier. The measured depth at the top of the interval represented by the qualifier. This must be within the range of the parent geologic interval. The measured depth at the bottom of the interval represented by the qualifier. A point can be indicated by specifying bottom=top. This must be within the range of the parent geologic interval. The relative abundance of the qualifier. This is usually estimated based on a "visual area" basis by inspecting the cuttings spread out on the shaker table. This either represents a point value or the upperbound of a range (e.g., 0% to 10%). A code associated with the relative abundance of the qualifier. For example, "trace", "common" or "abundant". This is generally a proprietary code. The interoperable semantics are provided by the above abundance value. The presumption is that the value range associated with a code is mapped to a single value. On the other end of an exchange, the single value is mapped to the range associated with the local codes on that end. A textual description of the qualifier. Unique identifier for the lithology qualifier.
