The usage of moles was off by a factor of 1000. The dictionary had consistently used mol(kg) as the the basic unit, rather than mole. The errors involved 25 customary units. All of these uoms are deprecated and replaced by correct uoms. the new uoms will consistently be like the old with the following replacement abbreviations: mol(g) to mol, mol(kg) to kmol, and mol(lbm) to lbmole. Also, the uom Grad (gigaradian) is deprecated, it being of little use, and being too easy to confuse with the angular measure, grad.

This document is released as a more comprehensive dictionary of POSC units of measure. It includes the following additions. 1. More units to meet the needs of various groups. 2. Use of SameUnit element to record an RP66 equivalent symbol for the POSC unit. 3. an additional element, DimensionalClass, to give the dimensonality of the unit. 4. More extensive use of the QuantityType, although the listing given is not to be considered complete. The document is backward compatible with previous version 1.0, with the following exceptions: a) DocumentInformation has a slightly different form. b) all elements are in the same namespace.
